Patient Registration

An intuitive registration screen allows registering a new patient very easily and includes an expanded information base to reflect the specialized needs of hospice and palliative care.  This includes not just family contact information but other important contact information such as a good friend, pastor, nephew or niece etc.

  • It is easy to assign a patient to an interdisciplinary team or enter the name of the designated power of attorney all from one screen.
  • It allows for a much easier and efficient means of entering all information required at the time of registration and this information is always available as 'view only' with edit capabilities allowed through the use of role based access controls.
  • After registration is complete, the face sheet displays important information in a single screen for immediate access. The face sheet shows demographic and contact information, directions to the patient's location, previous visit dates and the provider seen as well as any currently scheduled visit.
  • The face sheet also shows the following relevant clinical information: patient status, hospice diagnosis, code status, attending physician with contact information, team assignment, allergies and current medications.
